This kitchen bowl has a simple shape with a straight wall, rounded rim and a flat, disc-shaped bottom. The pink clay is covered with a thick, creamy-yellow slip (a clay solution applied to obtain a finer finish, which also has sealing qualities). Five irregularly engraved, horizontal lines decorate the centre of the body.

This piece was broken but carefully repaired, as seen by the holes drilled along the edges. Strong strings made from animal sinew or plant fibre, or even small bronze alloy fasteners, could be linked through the holes and fasten the broken parts together.
