Pterosaur

This remarkable double plate is an example of how fossil bones can sometimes be found in Solnhofen rock, perfectly split, one side shows the positive fossil of the embedded bones, and the other surface shows negative imprint. This pterodactyl about 145 million years old, and dates from the Last Jurassic period. The specimen measures approximately 20cm
