This set of 50 natural pearls is from Madagascar. It has a total weight of 19.12 carats. An oyster fisherman collected these pearls over the course of his lifetime. The largest pearl in the set has a baroque shape and weighs 3.05 ct.

The pearls come from the Pinctada radiata, also known as the rayed pearl oyster, which is commonly found in the Indo-West Pacific region, including Madagascar.
