This wide gold finger ring is known as al marami. It is made up of three narrow bands which have been brazed together to make one wide ring. Each band is separated by twisted wire and decorated with a row of projecting decorative knobs with smooth, flattened tops. These knobs have been welded on and have short vertical lines of granules between them. This kind of ring is typically worn on the middle finger.
