This miniature vase or bottle is composed of a globular body, a short neck and an external decoration consisting of a trail of applied and pincered glass on the upper part of the body alongside applied H-shaped six-pointed figures. The decoration was tooled and pushed into the surface of the object. Similar containers were produced in the early period in Syria. The trails were then tooled to give them a regular shape and designs. Such objects are characteristic of an early production that are reminiscent of late Roman glassblowing techniques in the eastern Mediterranean.
