This baseball was signed by Babe Ruth during a special hitting exhibition at Pierce Memorial Stadium in East Providence, Rhode Island, in September 1941.

Organised to attract crowds to a local tournament, the event brought Ruth together with fellow baseball legend Ted Williams. Signed for fans and young spectators, the ball reflects baseball’s enduring power to inspire communities and celebrate the game’s greatest heroes beyond the professional stage.
